Intended to replace the existing Inspiron Gaming line, G Series systems promise a "gaming-first package that won’t break the bank," and are designed to extend Dell's gaming appeal beyond premium Alienware machines and into the mainstream. The new line-up will initially be divided into three tiers - G3, G5 and G7 - with prices starting from around £750, and all launch models flaunt an 8th Gen Intel Core processor and dedicated Nvidia GeForce graphics. Dell XPS 15 – Review

Dell’s premium laptops always impress in the design department, and the XPS 15 continues that tradition. It’s machine-cut from a single block of aluminium, and its interior recesses are filled with carbon fibre. The luxury materials make for a stunning, two-tone system, and the little details bolster the design. The lid is decorated with a smart logo, and opening the machine reveals a subtle carbon-fibre pattern, a smart power button and a keyboard with an unfussy white backlight. The right-hand side has a subtle battery indicator, and the machine’s base panel is a slab of attractive aluminium. The screen has a tiny bezel – just 5.7mm thick. Dell has achieved this by cramming a 15.6in screen into a chassis designed for a 14in panel.  "

Dell XPS 13

Dell's XPS 13 and 15 line of notebooks have done well for the company, sparked by a reinvention of the product line back in 2015. Since then, its design signature has reached iconic status for Round Rock, with the ultra-thin bezel of its Infinity Edge display and hatched carbon fiber composite palm rest and keyboard area earning the series many awards, including our Editor's Choice on multiple occasions. And as you might expect, Dell has continued to evolve its well-received XPS product offerings, not only as new notebook platform architectures roll out, but the company is also now looking to capitalize on its the XPS design signature with new machine types, cut from the same cloth. Dell upsized the design with the larger XPS 15 and expanded the line for its commercial workstation customers with the Latitude 15 series. However, at CES 2017, Dell unveiled an XPS-infused offering for the hot hybrid, convertible market segment, joining the 2-in-1 fray. "

Dell Precision Tower 7810 Workstation (Broadwell) Review

The Dell Precision Tower 7810 (T7810) is dual-socket tower workstation designed specifically for professionals who are looking for a desktop with some extra power for their graphics- or CPU-intensive workloads. Previously, we looked at the last generation of the T7810, which we found to be both flexible and performance-driven. For this review, we will be looking at the newly refreshed T7810, as Dell has upgraded its new Intel Broadwell EP Processors with more cores and better performance (specifically for multi-threaded applications). With these upgrades, Dell indicates that the T7810 will be even more effective for professional modeling, analysis, and calculation use cases.  "

Dell Latitude 13 7370

"  Dell's XPS 13 can be considered one of the most desirable 13in laptops launched in recent years, and going by past experience, the larger XPS 15 is rather tasty, too. A beautiful InfinityEdge display is part of the appeal, yet while the XPS series has plenty of wow factor, they might not do enough to prevent corporate types from steering toward the favoured ThinkPad. What Dell needs, then, is an XPS 13 alternative that's been given a business-centric makeover. Enter the Latitude 13 7370.  "

Dell Latitude 13 7370 Review

"  CES is a distant memory now, but we’re still seeing new products arrive that were announced in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year. One of those is the Dell Latitude 13 7000 series, the latest in the company's line of business laptops. The 13-inch ultrabook landed several awards at CES for its sleek design and promised to add some spice to the staid business laptop market. At long last, the Latitude 13 7370 is here.  "

Dell XPS 15 Review

"  Laptop design has evolved beautifully over the course of the past decade. Compare a 2016 machine with one from 2006 and you'll typically find it to be thinner, lighter, faster and far more attractive to look at. But the push for a sexier profile isn't always a good thing. Thinner, smaller laptops aren't quite as productive, performance can be sacrificed, and you often tend to lose out on something rather important, be it all-day battery life, a well-stocked array of I/O ports or something as simple as an optical drive.  "
