Dell Vostro V131 Notebook Review
" Tucked away from the prying eyes of most end users on Dell’s website, you’ll find the Vostro lineup of notebooks. These may be geared towards professionals who have higher expectations for quality and functionality but most of the hardware used is identical to what’s included in the mass market Inspirons. Indeed, many who are used to buying from Dell know to go straight to the Vostro and Latitude pages to get the best value for their money. It may sound counterintuitive to push everyday consumers towards professional oriented products but by the end of this review, we’re certain you’ll be paying just a bit more attention to the the Vostro series has to offer. Antec HCG-620M 620 W Review
" Today's test sample is a HCG-620M PSU. This unit is 80 Plus Bronze certified, the letter "M" stands for the modular design it utilizes, its cooling fan has 135mm diameter and uses double ball bearings so it will have an increased life span and finally it has a single +12V rail which can deliver up to 48 Amps. With the two PCIe connectors it is equipped with, it will easily feed a midrange system with a single VGA and the three year warranty that Antec provides is good for the category that this unit belongs to. Finally Antec states that the HCG-620M exclusively uses Japanese capacitors, something that greatly enhances its reliability. " |

Coolermaster Hyper 612S CPU Cooler Review
" The Coolermaster Hyper 612S CPU cooler is one of the new editions to Coolermaster’s silent range. The 612S cooler brings silent running parallel to the great cooling performance. The Coolermaster 612S is fitted with a copper-based heatpipe design with a overall large sized unit. The low level noise is great but how well does the cooler dissipate the processors burning temperature? Let’s fine out... " |

Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower Review
" When Cooler Master released the Cosmos case a few years ago it was truly something new and revolutionary. They followed it up with the Cosmos S, which gave it a more streamlined look and took away the front door. Our own staff member Colin Dean still uses that case to this day. Back in 2011 at CES we saw a prototype of the new Cosmos that Cooler Master was going to release later in the year. We were excited, but we had no clue when it was going to be released. Right before CES this year Cooler Master announced the Cosmos II. A massive case with support for up to 13 hard drives, 5 included fans with support for up to 10 fans, 2 hot swap hard drive bays, and it can fit motherboards up to XL-ATX. Read on as we check this beast out! Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the Cosmos II Ultra Tower to review! " |

Fractal Design Define R3 USB 3.0 Black Pearl Mid-Tower Chassis Review
" As I was making a meeting with Lian Li on the CES show floor, I happened to show up a few minutes early. While JP from Lian Li was talking to someone I stood and waited my turn, but as I did I was also scouting the floor for my next meeting and I happened to see the Fractal Design booth. After I finished up with JP, I walked over to the Fractal booth and was greeted by a representative who I caught looking at my press badge to see who I was. So offhandedly I asked him, am I on some sort of blacklist I don't know about? I know it was a bit tongue and cheek to say that to them, but it set the mood for a great conversation and what must have been a twenty minute tour around their both looking at what I had missed along with a sick looking BF3 case mod. Noontec A9 Smart TV Box Review
" Today we have the opportunity to review the A9 Smart TV Box produced by Noontec. Noontec is a company located in Shenzhen, China and was established in 2002. They now have 600 employees and sell 1.2 million products to 36 countries and regions around the world. The A9 Smart TV Box maybe Noontec's first Android media player but it is far from the company's first media player, that was released in May 2004 and by 2009 they had launched a full HD version and were selling over 1,200,000 media players annually. Now Noontec offer six other media players including the A6II NAS Media Station which uses the same external case as the A9 Smart TV Box. Today we will find out if the Noontec A9 has what it takes to offer a decent upgrade to Smart TV (Android) functionality for those who don't want to move to the latest HDTV with the features built in. Coolermaster Hyper 612 PWM Heatsink Review
" Consumers tend to be pretty skittish about trying new heatsinks if they don't recognize the brand name. Conversely, big brands tend to be skittish about trying out innovative heatsink designs. This stalemate breeds uniformity, and uniformity is a double-edged sword in the world of processor cooling. Where your CPU is concerned, it means that sometimes you'll get a great CPU cooler and sometimes you get a hunk of junk - pretty junk with a big shiny brand emblem, but junk nonetheless. Case in point, Frostytech has seen big-brand-ASUS heatsinks fail miserably and no-name small manufacturer heatsinks perform wonderfully. What then, is the secret to knowing which heatsink is good and which heatsink is expensive scrap metal? " |

OCZ ZT 650W power supply review
" Even though the focus of OCZ is mostly concentrated at the SSD space nowadays, the company is still a very active player in the power supply market. Recently we reviewed the ZS series but they also released the ZT (100% modular) PSU series that is designed for system builders and gamers with a more high-end hint to it. So you are in the market for an affordable PSU, want a modular design and want bang for your bucks? Well, the new ZT series from OCZ seems to do the job quite well. " |

Corsair Vengeance K60 Review
" The Corsair Vengeance K60 keyboard is one of only two offerings from Corsair, this the K60 version is aimed squarely at FPS gamers. The other is the K90, this model is aimed more at the MMO and RTS gamer. The K60 comes well packaged in a smart box with the prominent Vengeance brand on the front. The box has a small see though panel on the left showcasing the FPS orientated WASD keys, these keys represent 4 of 10 in total, the others being the numbers 1-6. Inside you will find the keyboard itself along with the aforementioned 4 red WASD keys, a wrist rest (containing the additional red 1-6 keys and a key puller), a Quickstart Guide and a Warranty Guide (2 years).
