"  I don't tend to do too much research on these lower end mid-range products. For starters, little information about them leaks because most people aren't all that interested. And secondly, partners tend to contact me about them before launch because they like these budget cards to get their moment in the spot light. I didn't actually hear about the HD 6770 until it really launched, though. That's not completely true; I had heard whispers of it here and there, but nothing to the point that had caught my attention.  "
