NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 SLI Review

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 launched today, and we have had the chance to review as many as four unique graphics cards based on it. It also gave us the opportunity to pair two of these cards in 2-way SLI configuration to test how performance scales up. Before you proceed any further, make sure you're up to speed with our single graphics card reviews: "

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2 GB Review

NVIDIA's much talked about Kepler GPU architecture is finally testing waters in the crucial performance market-segment, with the GeForce GTX 670. The new graphics card, as NVIDIA puts it, is built from the DNA of GeForce GTX 680. This launch closely follows that of the GeForce GTX 690, which is the posterboy of the Kepler GPU architecture, and is the fastest graphics card ever made. The GeForce GTX 670 is designed to let NVIDIA capture the US $399 price point, its competitor is meant to be Radeon HD 7950, although its specifications give us hope that the SKU could fry both bigger and smaller fish than that. It could target the Radeon HD 7950, as well as take a shot at scoring a higher price-performance than the much cheaper Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition. "

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 690 DirectX 11 Video Card Review

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 houses two (Kepler GK104) GPUs on the same PCB. The GTX 690 is 11” in length and utilizes a 10 phase power supply and an onboard PLX chip. The onboard PLX allows the GeForce GTX 690 to run in a single PCIe 3.0, X16 slot with the benefits of SLI. NVIDIA has also added an all-aluminum casing (shroud), as well as a magnesium injection fan housing. Combined, these elements produce less noise, decrease overall weight and produce less heat. Dual copper vapor chambers (nickel plated fins) surround the center injected fan and cool each GPU. There are also two clear polycarbonate windows over each heatsink and an LED backlit logo. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 boasts 3072 CUDA cores, a base clock of 915 MHz (per GPU), a memory clock of 6008 MHz and 4GB of GDDR5 memory (2048 per GPU). "

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 DirectX 11 Video Card Review

The release of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 ushers in a new class of enthusiast GPU. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 GPU is based on the new 28nm "Kepler" architecture, which sports the next generation Streaming Multiprocessor (SMX), containing a massive 1536 CUDA core count. While designed to be powerful, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 is also very efficient, requiring only two additional 6-pin power connectors, compared to the previous generation GTX 580, as well as AMD's latest HD 7970 video card, which requires extra 6-pin and an 8-pin PCI-E power connectors. Unlike the previous generation Fermi video cards, the GTX 680 is capable of driving a 3-way 3D Vision surround multi-monitor gaming setup on a single card with a 4th additional display capability for keeping a web browser open or chat program open. The GeForce GTX 680 video card is equipped with 2048MB GDDR5 on a 256-bit memory interface running at a 1006MHz clock speed and 6008MHz memory clock, enough to handle the latest games easily and beyond. Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 SLI review

Hey now ya'll -- before we start, we recommend you to read the standard reference GeForce GTX 680 review first so you know a little better what products we use in this additional Guru3D.com review. Ever since the GeForce GTX 400/500 series we have seen some impressive increases in performance scaling when it comes to multi-GPU setups, in NVIDIA's case we obviously are talking about SLI performance. In the most high-end segment we more often notice some CPU limitation (processor bottleneck) here and there. That means with current generation processors like Sandy Bridge(E) with 3-way SLI for example, your GPUs might want to go a little faster, but the CPU is holding them back. "

Geforce GTX 680 review

Today the GeForce 680 sees the light and has been born, a product that has had many discussions and has seen many rumors. It's time to put an end to that and replace it with facts. The GeForce GTX 680 2 GB is now a fact and selling in the stores as we speak. The all new product has some interesting new features which we'll happily discuss with you -- obviously the GeForce GTX 680 is positioned against AMD's Radeon HD 7970 so we'll pit it against each other 1:1 -- gangsta guru style. But hey -- have a look at NVIDIA's newest flagship graphics card, and then let's head onwards into the review. "

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores Graphics Card Review

Enter the GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores, a limited edition of the GTX 560 Ti with additional CUDA processors in the GPU. Give these cores to manufacturers and let them create custom models and on paper there are some very interesting products to consider. Today we have four of the cards in our system with models from ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI and ZOTAC all looking to persuade consumers to part with their hard earned money. We will be putting each through a selection of real world gaming tests which include Arkham City and Skyrim all on the X79 platform. "

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M Review featuring Alienware M17x R3 Laptop Review

" A few weeks ago NVIDIA announced the GeForce GTX 580M, their new high end mobile GPU which was tagged "The world's fastest notebook GPU". At the same time that the GTX 580M was being announced a number of manufacturers were stating that they would include it in their current systems and as always Alienware were one of those. The GTX 580M is available in Alienware's M18x and M17x systems with the M17x also offering the option of a 3D enabled display. We took a look at the M17x R3 back in February and today we revisit it, equipped this time with the GTX 580M to find out in a selection of real world gameplay just how fast NVIDIA's GPU is... can we finally game at 1920x1080 without compromise on a mobile system?
