As the price of LCD and Plasma TVs continue to fall, the HTPC market continues to grow. This has been the case for some time now and while the HTPC market is still a niche segment, many people across the globe now have a computer dedicated to home entertainment. One of the issues with the HTPC market is the lack of simplicity. Many if not the majority of systems used for media purposes are Windows based, and while this gives the consumer a more vestal experience, it is also not always intuitive mainly due to the whole process of having to install device drivers, updates and audio/video codec's before the system will properly work for all types of media.
