Enermax Revolution87+ 1000 watt PSU Review
" Powering a PC doesn't take much when running a stock name brand "let's check our email and browse the social network site" system. Then again, the people reading this are likely to use their systems for a lot more than that. They will include gamers, enthusiasts, overclockers, and some who fit all those categories, or might simply fall into the "mad scientist" category. These are the ones that push their systems while editing video and/or music files, that turn the settings all the way up for anything they do, that want that little bit of extra performance out of whatever they run. Enermax Revolution87+ 850 W Review
" Today's test subject will be the second strongest Revolution87+ with 850W capacity. This unit shares the same cable configuration with the 1kW model, so it is equipped with six PCIe connectors and two EPS ones, with all being available at the same time. Also Enermax states that for a short period of time, only 60 seconds, this PSU can deliver 935W. Nevertheless we are not going to encourage you to overstress this PSU (or any other), since so far we have seen quite a few blown PSUs during peak power output, with some of them being high-end. PSUs are not like CPUs/GPUs so forget overclocking them. If you need more power then simply buy a stronger PSU and ignore peak power. On the contrary pay attention to the full continuous power and at what temperature this can be delivered. " Read More... |

Enermax Fulmo Mid-Tower Case Review
" The foundation of a good system isn't the PSU. It isn't the CPU or even the motherboard. It's the case. Without a good case to keep all the other components cool, clean, and protected, systems can get messy quickly. When looking for the right case users look at whether or not it will fit the parts they wish to use, how well it cools, what can be added to it, and what it may have or lack in features. Consumers will consider many offerings from many different companies, most often the ones they hear others discussing on forums, or in other "tech" related gatherings places. The smart ones also consider products from companies that aren't necessarily known for their cases but for other gear, like Enermax. Today we are going to examine the Fulmo mid tower to see if it's worth considering. " Read More... |

Enermax Fulmo GT Full Tower Review
" The computer chassis market is one of the most competitive in the tech industry with many companies fighting for market share. Today we are looking at the Enermax Fulmo GT … a high cost case which offers ultimate cooling performance with multi GPU support. When I first got involved in the PC enthusiast sector power supplies were a primary focus for Enermax. In recent years Enermax expanded their portfolio to include keyboards and mice, CPU coolers, fans, power supplies and cases. They have had no option if they want to survive. There are so many different styles of computer chassis available that it can be difficult to choose the one that is perfectly suited for your particular needs. They must offer a competitive list of features to even stand a chance of making a short list. " Read More... |

Enermax Platimax 850w Power Supply Review @ KitGuru
" When shopping for a quality power supply Enermax are always one of the companies to place at the top of a shortlist. Last October we looked at their Platimax 1200W power supply and today we are reviewing the 850W version. Like the bigger brother, this product is 80 Plus Platinum Certified. The Platimax has been released as a replacement for the MaxRevo range of products and is a Dynamic Hybrid Transformer Topology, which according to Enermax is a “Technological breakthrough topology using a staged dynamic transformer array for extremely high efficiency with the most durable and stable output at any load.” Efficiency for these units is rated between 90 and 94 percent, meeting 80 Plus Platinum ratings. Unlike the 1200W model which we previously reviewed, this model isn’t a fully modular design. It is compliant with SSI PSDG for the latest Intel and AMD processors and is downward compatible with EPS12V v2.92, v2.8. All of the units in this range feature a 13.9cm Enermax fan with Twister Bearing Technology. " Read More... |

Enermax Platimax 850W Review
" Enermax power supply units have always been highly regarded in the enthusiast world. Their confident extended warranties and premium build quality have won them many an accolade. It wasn’t so long back that 80 Plus GOLD (87%) efficiency was the new height to attain to for PSUs but this has since been superseded by 80 Plus PLATINUM (90%). Manufacturers have started producing units for the enthusiast market that have this platinum efficiency and it is to Enermax that we turn for today’s review. The Platimax as you can well imagine takes its name from its 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating and is available in a variety of different wattage from 500W all the way up to 1500W. All of the units within this range are backed by a 5 year warranty and are what can only be described as the very best in power supply production. There has been a lot of hype surrounding Enermax Platimax, so let’s waste no further time and begin our analysis of the 850W version. " Read More... |

Enermax Fulmo GT Full Tower Chassis Review
" Today we are looking at the Enermax Fulmo GT tower case. The Fulmo GT is a full size “jumbo” tower designed to offer more space and accessibility for high end work stations, servers and workstation applications. With integrated multi GPU support, the Fulmo GT has an impressive 10 expansion slots allowing up to four graphics cards to be mounted into the chassis. With 5 pre-installed fans supplied it is also possible to mount up to 15 fan modules into the case. The Fulmo has many key features that make this case stand out from other brands including effect lighting, hot swap functionality, cable management compartments as well as dual PSU locations. Enermax Platimax 1200 W Review
" In a recent review we tested the Enermax Platimax 1500W, which is sold only in the EU and provides decent overall performance since it manages to combine tremendous power levels with high efficiency. Unfortunately this model could only run at 240 V, so in today's review we will test the Enermax Platimax 1200W which can operateall over the world since it accepts a universal AC line-input voltage of 100 to 240VAC. Also this unit is officially 80 Plus Platinum certified unlike the Platimax 1500W. " Read More... |

Enermax Platimax 1500 W Review
" Enermax currently has the most complete 80PLUS Platinum lineup, called Platimax, which consists of five units with capacities ranging from 600W to 1200W. Although there are five 80 Plus Platinum compliant Platimax units, there is another one which due to the exclusive use of 220-240VAC input cannot be classified by the 80 Plus organization which evaluates desktop PSUs only at 115VAC. This model sits right at the top of the Platimax series and is able to deliver 1500W of power with over 90% efficiency, according to Enermax. The Platimax 1500 (or EPM1500EGT) currently is one of the strongest and efficient PSUs available on the market today. According to Enermax it can achieve 90-95% efficiency at 20-100% load. Of course its efficiency is higher than the Platinum levels thanks to the 230VAC power input which raises efficiency by 1-1.5% compared to 115VAC. " Read More... |

Enermax Aurora Lite Keyboard Review
" It's always a bit of a surprise when a company that we know primarily for a certain line of products release an entirely different one. I'm sure I'm not the only person who looks at the brand Enermax and automatically thinks of power supplies. Showing what a dangerous thing this can be, when we reviewed the Acrylux keyboard we found it to be an exceptionally good keyboard for those no-frills people. So much so that we gave it the runner-up spot in our favourite keyboards of 2011. Today we're looking at new model based upon that already successful design, but with a few tweaks to perhaps iron out the few little issues we had. Without further ado, let us crack onwards and take a look at the Aurora. " Read More... |
