Antec High Current Pro Platinum 1000 W Review
" Antec jumped on the Platinum wagon first with the medium class EartWatts units and afterwards decided to refresh their flagship series, the High Current Pro, with a new Platinum unit featuring 1kW power. Taking into account that the HCP-1200 managed to enter the PSU hall of fame, thanks to its excellent performance and reliability especially under tough conditions and ultra-high loads, the new HCP-1000 Platinum has a tough legacy to fulfill. To speak frankly we expected that Antec would release a higher capacity unit but apparently they decided not to do so, because they wanted to keep the HCP-1200 into production since it still rocks very hard! Antec Earthwatts Platinum 650W PSU Review
" Antec have been selling power supplies now for as long as I can remember and their sales have been so strong that they claim they have taken the top spot worldwide. They have also announced that their return rate is the lowest in the industry. Today we are looking at their latest Earthwatts Platinum 650 watt power supply, the highest output in a series of three, starting at 450W. The Earthwatts power supplies are highly regarded in the industry and we have reviewed several in the past. The latest range however builds on the strong brand name, but offers the highest possible levels of efficiency, having received 80 Plus Platinum certification. " Read More... |

Antec Eleven Hundred Gaming Case Review
" We take a long [H]ard look at Antec's new Eleven Hundred model chassis that is billed by Antec as being "The Advanced Gaming Authority." This relatively inexpensive DIY chassis is chock full of features and represents a flagship in the Antec line. Our new testing format takes its maiden voyage on the Eleven Hundred. " Read More... |

Antec One Chassis Review
" Let’s face it; not everyone likes a case that can light up the entire room or looks like something straight off of a vessel from another planet. There are many out there who build a machine and leave it pretty much the same for a while without a whole lot of component switching. Much to the chagrin of many enthusiasts out there, these folks want a case that “just works,” and would rather spend their new PC budget on components rather than the case. The drawback is that usually budget cases come without the features they want or have a cheap look. This is a trend that Antec is looking to change with the Antec One. " Read More... |

Antec One Mid-Tower Case Review
" The Antec One has been released to meet the needs of the budget gamer or builder. The Antec One features many essentials not even found on their One Hundred. The One offers tool free 5.25" and 3.5" drive bays. PSUs are bottom mounted, but they've also included a washable filter over the PSU intake. The One features a large motherboard tray cut out for easy CPU cooler installs and swaps. There are also two 120mm fans included on the top and rear with room to expand three more 120mm fans. The front panel includes two USB 3.0 ports that connect through a front pin header, but can also be adapted as USB 2.0 ports if your motherboard doesn't support USB 3.0 " Read More... |

Antec High Current Gamer M 620W Review
" For the last 25 years Antec have had a passion for producing some of the best line of PSUs on the market. It was earlier this month that Antec announced the High Current Gamer modular series. Originally launched in 2010 the High Current Gamer (HCG) Series has been a popular choice for those not wanting to sacrifice performance whilst on a tighter budget. Antec listened to criticism and are now giving enthusiasts and gamers the ability to choose what cables they plug into the PSU with this new modular version of the HCG. With an already good reputation and further enhancements the HCG-M looks good on the surface but how will it fare as we take a closer examination? Let’s find out! " Read More... |

Antec High Current Gamer 620M Watt Power Supply Review
" Doooooooood! No way, man. That’s not a gaming system. It’s only got one video card!” I have to admit, AMD and nVidia did a heck of a marketing job making people believe that. It’s possibly more impressive than Apple making people think they have to have the latest iThing….even if they have no idea what it can (or more importantly, can’t) do. To listen to people these days, you would think that there is no possible way to play World of BattleRim 3 with any type of satisfaction unless you have a bare minimum of two cards in SLI or CrossfireX. You might get an “OK” experience with a GTX 590 or HD 6990, but it’s questionable. Of course, in these people’s eyes, unless you have this equipment, you simply don’t have a gaming system. Instead, you have a bank account and probably the option to do something other than play video games on a Saturday night. Personally, if you tell me you have a Core i5 2500K and a GTX 560Ti, I’m going to tell you that you have a credible gaming platform. Face it, if you are dropping $200+ on a video card simply for gaming capabilities, you are more than a “casual gamer”. " Read More... |

Antec HCG-620M 620 W Review
" Today's test sample is a HCG-620M PSU. This unit is 80 Plus Bronze certified, the letter "M" stands for the modular design it utilizes, its cooling fan has 135mm diameter and uses double ball bearings so it will have an increased life span and finally it has a single +12V rail which can deliver up to 48 Amps. With the two PCIe connectors it is equipped with, it will easily feed a midrange system with a single VGA and the three year warranty that Antec provides is good for the category that this unit belongs to. Finally Antec states that the HCG-620M exclusively uses Japanese capacitors, something that greatly enhances its reliability. " Read More... |

Antec Soundscience Rockus 3D 2.1 Review
" The product when put sitting together looks great, especially with the tall sub woofer. Let us take a look at the two speakers first as these are the coolest looking part of the product. The design of the speakers is not just to look good, but have been create like this for a purpose. The Anodized aluminium satellites reduce vibration and minimize distortion, resulting in clear mid and sparkling high-range sound. In addition, 3D-tuned drivers deliver audio optimized for soundscience’s 3Dsst™ technology. " Read More... |
